I have been moving to Wordpress!!! It has taken sometime to really get ready over there! I have moved all my old posts to the new blog so if you have missed something it will be over there! I am going to delete this blog after this post has been up for a bit. I want to give everyone a fair chance to find the new blog.

August Favs 2015

My Birthday Flowers!

Can you believe August is about over?! I can! I felt this was the longest month of summer! Not that that is a bad thing it seemed to take forever!


I feel I don't have a whole of favorites this month. It could be I didn't get my Sephora packages till this week! LOL

August is my birth month so that is of course a Favorite! HA I'm 29 now and finally think I might have my shit together! It's a goal by the time I'm 30!

Amazing dry shampoo!

You know I love dry shampoo and that my go to has been this for brunette's but all month long I had been skipping right over it and straight for Macadamia! IT smells so amazing and gives my hair so extra VA VA VOOM which it really needs!

Love it!

I recently got back into ROCKSBOX this post goes in to detail all about it! This necklace is one piece from this months box and I am living it! I wore it the most out of the other pieces this month!! IT is by SLATE and just called "Engraved Triangle Necklace" in Gunmetal.

As you know I got Champagne pop for my Bday! I wanted this so so bad! It is amazing and I love it! I can't get enough of it!

This Rebbl company makes really tasty and healthy drinks. I have not tried the one in my pic above yet! I have been drinking this one and OMG it tastes like a better version for you chocolate milk! It is amazing even Jake likes it. I saw the other day that whole foods had a few more different flavors I have not tried (hint pic above) but plan too!

AmazeBAlls!

I have been a bit obsessed with sparkling water for most of the year. I just can not get enough! SO when I saw this at whole foods I had to pick it up! It is their natural Coconut flavored sparkling water. It takes like real coconut! No the candy crap but real fresh! here is a list of their flavors! I am really hoping this stays around but it might be a summer edition only :( boo

You had me @ De-puff!

I had not heard of ALTCHECK MD before I received these 2 packets. Here is the website in case you are interested in checking it out!

I only got 2 packets when a full size is 10 @ $20 which is pretty good in my opinion. They are eye gel pads that claim to de-puff and refresh the under eye area while reducing the appearance of fine lines.

You can use them 2-3 times a week for 15-20 mins on clean skin. I am looking forward to giving
these a go!

I have seen but not ever used Bio-oil products. I do have stretch marks that I am dying to test this on! I received 0.5 fl oz but full size products range from 2 0z @ $12, 4.2 oz @ $20 and 6.7 oz @ $28

This is just a face and body oil that is supposed to treat skin related ailments. I will be putting this to the test in the next couple of weeks to see if it works. ( would you like a full post on it?)

I am not a fan of formula's that are supposed to plump your lips for the fact it usually stings the crap out of your lips!

This company is called GrandeNaturals and it appears they make a mascara as well. This is a collagen-boosting lip plumper called GrandeLips. 

It is in the scent and flavor Vanilla. It is a clear gloss you can wear everyday and in 30 day's should have a youthful looking pout. I have to say I am not looking forward to using this but I will give it a try. 

Now I have used L'Occitane hand creams before and find them to be really moisturizing. This is part of their skin care line and I am curious to try it out. I seen this cream is one of the top sellers.

This is the Divine cream that claims to help you achieve younger looking skin with it's anti-aging ingredients. You would use this as a daily moisturizer.

I can see how many oz's I got but it is the tiniest little pot lol. They only have one size which is 1.7 oz @ $108! At that price it better be good! I am thankful I get to test this out!

DermaQuest is another company I have not heard of. This is their Essential B5 Hydrating Serum. It claims to hydrate your skin while providing a treatment to reduce signs of aging. It says it is essential for all skin types. 

I got 0.5 oz and the full size is 1 oz @ $71 I have to say that is a pretty good sample! I will begin using this once I have used up the serum I am using now.

I do have to say it appears I should have no problem keeping my skin looking young HA! I was surprised that this box was mostly skin and hair care. ( I got 2 reruns of really good hair products) Normally it has a couple of make-up items. 

I am in no way complaining! I love the Testtube! I get to really try out high end brands and at least there is always one company I have not heard of. It is like xmas every time I get my box!

My No- Makeup Days

Hello Darlings!

Do you wear makeup everyday? Do you go lighter on some days than others?

Day's where I have to go nowhere (maybe a short trip to the store) I wear nothing but my eye cream and moisturizer!

Giving your face a break from all the crap we normally put on it gives it time to breath. I'm sure going completely bare would be better but I've noticed my face looks really really BLAH without a bit of something!

In this post I talk about what I use in the mornings. It has not changed yet but I am about out of a few So will be trying some new things out! ( would you want an updated version?)

On my extreme lazy day's I just wash my face with a light cleanser, then add my toner. Once that has soaked in I just use my eye cream and moisturizer!

The eye cream helps with my puffiness I seem to get every morning! (really should try to sleep more) A few mins after applying my eyes have gone down and look normal LOL

The moisturizer helps energize my face! My dull morning skin starts to look refreshed and alive.

So if you go without anything on your lazy days woohoo for you! Doesn't your skin thank you for it later!

Sephora Haul!!

Some new things to TRY!

I have done some shopping and figured I would share it with you!

It is two different orders so I got a lot of samples. I don't know about you but I love ordering online just because you do get 3 samples with every order plus you can find a code to get an extra then if you really want more stuff (umm who doesn't) you can use some of your points for a goodie!

Eye Masks

If you have been reading my blog for awhile now you know I love masks! I have a hard time finding the Sephora brand eye masks at my sephora. They are always sold out! That alone told me they were worth it!

You know I use the Sephora brand face masks all the time and that I love them! Super easy to use because there is no mess! I got the Ginseng which is for toning & revitalizing and Pomergranate which is for Anti-fatigue & energizing.

Perfect Hair Day!

I have been wanting to try the Living Proof line since it came out but I hate paying a lot of money for something I don't even know if it will work for me!

I wanted to try the Perfect Hair Day shampoo & conditioner first. So I got the smallest bottles they had which are 2 oz each. I figure that is plenty for me to really test it out and make sure my hair loves it!

They got great reviews in Allure magazine and half the products that end up in allure I love so I figure it's worth it.

Beauty Blender

I just went ahead and picked up another beauty blender pro. I read you should be tossing them out every 6 months if used regularly and the one I use daily is about to meet that mark. I like the original just as much as the pro. I really do not see a difference except in color.

I do use foundation brushes on occasion but I love the beauty blender! I find it makes my foundation look flawless! It also really helps blend in my concealer!

Peony

I have found many TWO faced Products that I adore! I have had my eye on the Melted Liquified  long wear lipsticks for awhile but never picked one up. Then I seen the Melted Metal in the color PEONY and new I had to have it!

I will be looking at the collection more next time I'm in the store to see what else I must have! I like to swatch before I buy just like I'm sure most of you do!

These are 0.40 oz and cost $21.00 which is why I did not rush out and buy them all. I will say I am very happy with the one I have!

Yves Saint Laurent

I of course had to buy two lippies lol! I have been wanting a Yves Saint Laurent Tint-In-Oil gloss for a very very long time!

I think the packaging is just beautiful! I wore this today and it gives a nice shiny look to the lips (not oily) and it really does conditioning them! (Keep an eye on my instagram for Pics)

ROSE 4 U

It smells just like sweet tarts! I really like the light pink color. I feel it is an everyday look! 

These are 0.2 oz for $32.00! Sometimes a gloss is just worth it! 

One order of samples!

This pic is all the samples I picked in just one order! I did not use any of my points because I am saving them for when one of those really good 500 point perks come along!

I choose two fragrances! I love perfume samples because if I really find one I like these are what I carry in my purse or travel with! 

I love the La Vie Est Belle  by Lancome but really don't want to fork out the cash! I have 3 samples of this already plus I did get a roller ball! (only $25) 

I wear this on date night because to me it smells like an evening scent. The name means "Philosophy of life and happiness" It smells a little sweet and sexy. If you have not smelled this yet I recommend it! 

The other scent is in that bag at the top of the pic! It came with a post card. This is Pomelo Paradise by Atelier Cologne. I have never heard of this before so thought a sample of it would be good.  You know how some scents can be overly sweet? Like that sickly sweet? That is how this comes off to me.

I have tried a few of Kate Somerville products and have enjoyed them. They are expensive so I find other means. This is Intensive Exfoliating Treatment sample. It is "hollywood's 2 minute facial" I love facial's just as much as the next girl so why not! 

The last sample I got in this package was one I got with a code they sent in an email. It is the Ulta HD Invisible Cover Stick Foundation by Make-up Forever. 

I once went in for a complimentary make-over in sephora and the women I got used a Make-up Forever foundation. I loved it till about 3 hrs in then I just felt like a oily mess! It was awful! It even made me break out!! YIKES

SO why did I get a sample of this? Well that was 2 years ago and what if it was something else she used along with it?? We never know till we try lol

Sample Batch 2!

In the 2nd order these are the samples I choose. I again did not find anything worth use my points for so I just choose the 3 you regularly get plus one with a code.

Look at the beautiful blushes!! These are Afterglow 8-hour powder blushes by Urban Decay! I got SCORE, Quickie, and Bittersweet! (In order from left to right) I have to say I would prolly only buy the Score color just because I get a little nervous around the real dark colors! (Really pale here folks)

This sample is perfect to test it out without spending money!

The the 3 foil packets are from Clinique. I used to use the Liquid Facial Soap in mild. I really enjoyed it since I do have oily skin. I only stopped because I got a lot of facial cleansers in my sample boxes and trying things out for you guys is what I do!

It then comes with it's Exfoliate and moisturizer. I have not used the exfoliate ever but I have used the moisturizer. I did not care for it which might seem odd since a lot of people do. I just found my skin did not like it.

I of course got another perfume sample. This is Pour Homme by Giorgio Armani. This to me is a very fresh and clean scent. I see me wearing this a lot during winter. IF you like the fresh scent with a hint of wood you should check this out!

Lastly I used a code to grab a deluxe sample of Body Lift Cellulite Control by Clarins. The name grabbed my attention. IT claims to target early & stubborn cellulite. (smoothes, firms, and refines) 

This is $70! So I thought well lets take advantage of the sample and give it a good test run!

Bonding Base Coat in Oxygen!

Up first is this Oxygen Bonding Base Coat. I have been needing a new base coat so I'm glad I got this! You only have to wait 60 sec before applying polish!!!

Isabella-Boho glam!

I am loving this pretty blue polish! It is in the color Isabella-boho glam this is a vegan polish! so if you are trying to switch to healthier products this is perfect for you!

Lucky-It girl!

August is my Birthday month so I got a pretty Peridot gemstone color in Lucky-It girl! It has pretty silver glitter pieces in it!

Last but certainly not least! I got a lipgloss and I am a huge lipgloss junky!! It is a pretty nude pink that smells delicious! The color is Graceful and I love it!!

Dr. Jart+ Products

Hello Darlings!

I'm not getting any younger!

I have been using a lot of Dr. Jart+ products lately and thought I would share my thoughts with you. (This is not a sponsored post! I just really enjoy these products)

I really like BB creams during the summer. When it get's too hot my foundation just melts away and no body wants that. I also want my skin to breath better during the hotter months


Black Label Detox BB cream has been a staple this summer. I have gone through 2 tubes of this stuff! I actually just went through the 2nd one this Morning. I will be repurchasing once I use up the other BB cream I will be talking about.

The Black label is just enough coverage to make your face look flawless. It aids in covering blemishes and uneven skin tones. I love that it has SPF 25! It makes those quick makeup days just that much easier.

This BB cream was designed with a botanical formula to purify your skin as you wear it!

Premium BB  is a beauty balm I recently discovered from Birchbox and love it! I am a medium tone so I got the medium-deep and was a little afraid it would be to dark but it matches beautifully.

This BB cream is a must have for summer since it is designed to protect skin from sun and environmental factors. It also has SPF 45!!!

Both creams are so light on skin it feels like your not wearing makeup which is something I really like!

Ceramindin Cream was a sample a couple months back in Birchbox that I wasn't real sure about. It is pretty much a moisturizer for really dry skin. In one article I read it said may not be suitable for oily skin. I have combination skin so I was worried.

I started using it on weekends. I would just apply it to the dry parts of my face after showering. It didn't cause any breakouts or make my oily skin worse.

After a few uses I noticed it really helping my dry areas. I have not purchased a full size yet (the sample lasted me a long time since I only used it on weekends and in certain areas) because of the next product I am going to mention.

Ceramindin Liquid was another sample I had received and was not sure how to use it. I did some research and it is like a primer. It seals in moisture.

I have been using this in the mornings. You don't need a lot. It is not like a makeup primer but more like a moisturizer primer. It is recommended to follow up with the  Ceramindin cream.

I know there are many more products by DR. Jart+ out there. I'm hoping to find a few new other gems one day.
